What

Kick® is a highly effective penetrant wetting agent using anionic and nonionic surfactant technology. Kick® has the added bonus of being a highly effective dew and frost control solution.  It increases the water absorption and prevents drought damage on fine turf surfaces. Kick®  wetting agent is plastic free biologically degradable and friendly to soil microbes.

When

Applying from March through to September will provide even moisture control and help prevent hydrophobicity. Kick® can also be applied as a dew control product from October through to March. The roots can continue to grow intensively again and open up deeper horizons.

Where

Kick® wetting agent is ideal for all turf surfaces such as golf greens, bowling greens, sports pitches and lawns.

Applying Kick® at 2.5 l/ha on a monthly program will ensure consistent even moisture control within your soils. Kick® will also improve fertiliser and bio stimulant performance encouraging healthy soil biodiversity.Kick® is a versatile wetting agent that can also be used for optimum dew control. The unique formulation of Kick® coats each blade of grass preventing the formation of dew for up to 21 days.It has been scientifically proven that Kick® lowers the freezing point of soils by -2.2oC. This provides extra frost protection during those early spring / late autumn days protecting your turf from damage and keeping soils warmer.

 

Application

Apply 2.5l/ha in 600-800 litres of water every 4 weeks and 2.5l/ha in 300-350 litres of water for dew control. Liquid products are best applied through a boom type sprayer (suitable for tank mixing) that must be properly calibrated to ensure accurate application.

 All operators should be properly trained when using any type of applicator. Always use an accurately calibrated applicator and ensure all required PPE is used.
